Automated Cell finds the proteins that lead to the cure of disease and dramatically focuses and shortens drug development efforts. Automated Cell documents how human proteins change cells related to disease. It provides the understanding of what each protein does and how well it does it. Automated Cell can select the very few proteins that are the most promising targets for drug development. Automated Cell contracts with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms to identify drug targets from their libraries of proprietary proteins.

Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology is catalyzing a similar paradigm shift in the mechanical sensing industry. MEMS technology was invented in the 1980s and 90s to fabricate mechanical devices on silicon ICs the same way electronic elements are fabricated. This resulted in MEMS devices that are small, reliable, and, potentially, very inexpensive. But, the cost of today's MEMS devices prohibits widespread adoption.

IC Mechanics' unique MEMS manufacturing process is changing all that. The company is positioned to become a leader by providing low-cost, superior MEMS devices to new and existing mass markets.

LogicLibrary is a leading provider of software and services for getting companies started with Web services. LogicLibrary Logidex, a software development asset (SDA) mapping and discovery engine, allows enterprise IT organizations to represent their inherently complex application environments in understandable and visual contexts. A company's Logidex SDA Library can include XML schemas, software components, legacy applications and associated documentation mapped to the business' technical and business process models. Software developers, architects and business analysts can search the catalog using search options ranging from simple, keyword searches to sophisticated, model-based searches. When a search is run, SDAs are identified and scored according to their 'fit' with the specified business and technical requirements. The Logidex mapping and discovery engine significantly reduces the time required to build high-quality Web services applications and/or extend legacy requirements.

MindMatters was formed in February 2000 to help companies reduce the costs and headaches associated with creating and managing innovation and intellectual property assets. Quantapoint has been in operation since 1990. Our team is dedicated to producing the best methods of Existing Condition Documentation available to architects. Our technology is state of the art, and we continue to remain the leaders in fast, accurate ECD. We built the first 360-degree laser scanning device in 1992, and our technology remains at the forefront of complete, flexible, and reliable building measurement technology.
The founders of Quantapoint are all current or former members of the robotics research community at Carnegie Mellon University.
The Quantapoint team has more than 30 years of experience in Existing Condition Documentation. We have steadily broadened our knowledge base with work in condition assessments, site surveys, and visualization technology. Among Quantapoint‘s technical personnel are 40 scientists and technicians. Current growth projections indicate a total staff of approximately 100 by the end of 2001.
We have documented millions of square feet of contemporary structures and historic landmarks ranging from museums to churches, retail stores to bank buildings.

TissueInformatics (www.TissueInformatics.com) is the pioneer of automated hyperquantification analysis of normal and pathological tissue.
TissueInformatics has revolutionized the tissue analysis process by enabling automated quantitative analysis of tissue and this enables the company to provide the industry with both TissueAnalyticsSoftware and TissueAnalyticsServices.
TissueInformatics integrates sophisticated tissue imaging with its proprietary tissue analysis software to enable precise mathematical comparison of tissues. TissueInformatics sophisticated imaging and analysis software and services allows greater speed, consistency and accuracy where the precise comparison of tissue is critical, such as in automated toxicology, pre-clinical and clinical pharmacology, diagnostic and product safety applications, and quality assurance in tissue engineering. In addition, the quantitative data generated can be useful in correlation with other biological information to associate clinical status and tissue structure with genomic and proteomic expression levels in drug target discovery and development.
